L'Oreal paid approximately $7.5 million for a 30% stake in Israel's largest cosmetics marketing company, Interbeauty, and became its largest shareholder. L'Oreal's vice president, Jean-Pierre Valeriola, stated that this step was the first in establishing a direct presence in Israel. L'Oreal planned to pursue joint projects in dermatology and cosmetics with Israel.

Bernard Arnault, president and CEO of LVMH, announced that he invested in Wiz, an Israeli producer of cloud security solutions. Last week, Wiz closed a Series B funding round with $120 million from Salesforce Ventures and Blackstone. Arnault's venture investment arm, Aglaé Ventures, participated in this funding round alongside Howard Schultz. Wiz was founded by a team that managed Microsoft Azure's Cloud Security Group at the beginning of 2020 and has raised a total of $350 million to date, with a valuation of $1.7 billion.
