AIRBNB

Airbnb is an online platform that allows users to list and book accommodation options. The company was founded in 2008 and provides accommodation services worldwide. Airbnb has stated that it must withdraw listings of rental properties built illegally on Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT). In a statement made on December 10, 2020, Amnesty International emphasized that continuing to list these properties is not right for future investors. The company has around 200 illegal settlement properties, which are considered war crimes under international law.
The previous year, Airbnb announced that it would remove listings for 200 rental properties in the occupied West Bank, but later reversed this decision. Saleh Higazi, Deputy Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa at Amnesty International, stated that no company should be complicit in human rights violations. Airbnb will remain deeply compromised as long as it does not end its business relationship with Israeli settlements.

Procter and Gamble supports Israeli initiatives that enable favorable access to Israeli government funding. In this regard, the company signed a bilateral agreement with Israel's chief scientist and opened a research and development center in Tel Aviv, with an annual investment of 2 billion dollars. Additionally, Procter and Gamble Israel is committed to community programs, including the Brands in Action initiative, which aims to reach and impact every household in Israel.

Monday.com debuted on the U.S. stock market today, raising $574 million in its initial public offering. The company’s market value is set at $6.8 billion. Both Salesforce and Zoom agreed to invest $150 million in the company. BOOKING.COM

Booking.com is a Netherlands-based online travel agency that provides accommodation booking services worldwide. The company reversed its decision to label Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank as occupied territory and instead used the term conflict-affected area. Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid called this reversal an Israeli victory. Palestinian rights group al-Haq's Susan Power and other critics argue that with this decision, Booking.com profits from Israel’s illegal settlement projects and is complicit in the unlawful appropriation of Palestinian lands.

Microsoft has announced a significant investment in the Israeli market to establish its first cloud region in Israel. The new region is expected to be available starting in 2021, including Microsoft Azure and Office 365. Amazon and Google are collaborating on the Nimbus project. The Nimbus project is a $1.2 billion contract to provide cloud services to the Israeli military and government.
